Founder & Managing Principal

Laura Shahi is the Founder & Managing Principal of Shahi Advisory Group, where she advises organizations navigating growth, strategic change, and shifting funding landscapes.

Over more than two decades, Laura has held business development leadership roles at some of the sector's leading implementers, including Chemonics International, DAI, IMA World Health, and Management Sciences for Health. In these roles she has helped organizations strengthen partnerships, diversify funding, and build the strategies and systems needed to grow.

Having worked across organizations of every size, from faith-based nonprofits and emerging organizations to large international organizations and global consulting firms, Laura understands the perspectives of leaders, technical teams, and business development staff alike. Her approach pairs strategic thinking with hands-on experience, helping organizations make disciplined decisions, align around shared priorities, and adapt as they learn.

Laura also serves on a nonprofit board, advising on resource mobilization and organizational strategy.
